I am exceptionally proud to leverage my extensive experience to establish a new, premium optometry practice right in my hometown of East Petersburg, PA. The journey of opening a new office can be fraught with risks and challenges. But I have a deep-rooted belief that the profit driven culture prevalent in major chain optometry establishments has often hindered the true practice of optometry.
Throughout my career, I've witnessed the consequences of understaffed offices and overbooked schedules, which often compromise the quality of patient care. Furthermore, I've seen opticians pressured to prioritize profitability over the best interest of their patients, even if a less lucrative option was the most suitable choice.
My pursuit of becoming an optometrist was never about maximizing profits; it has always been about excelling in my field. Now, with the establishment of Eye Check Health & Vision, I have the opportunity to practice optometry with the integrity and commitment that the title of “doctor” demands.
